IoT Solutions World Congress will deepen between IoT and AI

International. From October 16 to 18, IoT Solutions World Congress, IoTSWC, will hold three workshops to delve into aspects of the Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). These sessions will provide knowledge and the necessary tools to optimize the digital transformation of the business of different industries.

Participants will receive an official certificate from the event and the Industrial Internet Consortium (IIC), a leading global organization that brings together the main players in the IoT ecosystem to work together to accelerate the implementation of IoT in a secure way in various sectors.

The first workshop will focus on artificial intelligence and offer an overview of this technology. It will explain how it is being used successfully and where it is having a significant impact. The keys to where to start, the aspects to take into account in its implementation, as well as the challenges posed by its deployment depending on the companies will be given. Edy Liongosari, Chief Research Scientist at Accenture Labs, and Wael William Diab, Business and Technology Strategist at Huawei lead this session in which several experts will participate.

The second will demonstrate that the success of the industrial internet depends on the collaboration of different companies and will connect IoT start-ups with solution providers and financing to carry out these projects. With a hands-on approach, this session will allow several start-ups to explain the challenge they are working on and the problems they encounter. A number of technology providers will then present solutions that can help solve these challenges, as well as innovation programs in which technology-based start-ups can participate.  Finally, different venture capital companies will explain what they are looking for in IoT start-ups and how best to work with them and access their capital injection programs.

The last of the workshops will deal with the concept "Digital Twin" or digital twin, which comes to transform the dynamics of the industry. It is about virtually replicating real processes to analyze their behavior in certain cases in order to improve their effectiveness or know how to act in unforeseen situations. A new approach called Closed Loop PLM: Connecting CAD in the factory and product lifecycle management (PLM) (PLM) and (SLM) systems will be presented through an IoT platform that includes augmented reality and virtual reality. Responsible for the contents are Calvin Smith, Director & Head of IoT Partner Engineering at Wipro and Helena Lisachuck, Director IOT Global Lead at Deloitte.

IoT Solutions World Congress (IoTSWC) is the leading event on the industrial internet and the digital transformation of the business sectors that combines congress, trade exhibition and test benches. In its October edition it plans to bring together 300 exhibitors and 250 international speakers. This year's event will confirm the rise of the massive implementation of IoT in different industrial and business environments, and will also show the convergence of this technology with artificial intelligence and blockchain. Last year, more than 13,000 professionals from 114 countries visited IoTSWC.
