Colombia. The Institute for Export and Fashion, Inexmoda, confirmed the international lighting technician David Overcamp, of the new York Fashion Week catwalk team, to take care of the scenography and luminaries of the Colombiamoda 2011 fair.
The event that will be held in Medellín, between July 26 and 28, will have 1,600 international buyers, 450 exhibitors and 7,400 visitors. There, Overcamp will generate illuminated spaces that allow to achieve a better photographic record during the catwalks that take place in these three days of the fair.
To meet its objectives, Overcamp will work with 3cero2, an agency specialized in creating staging that generates remembrance for the design and operation of the venue where the Colombiamoda 2011 catwalks will take place.
Overcamp is a lighting designer, a career he began several years ago in plays and dance on Broadway – New York. He obtained important recognitions for his professional career and in 2001 he began his path through the fashion catwalks.
