Spain. A local company developed a new technology that can convert 3D or stereoscopic images into autostereoscopic images, which allow images to be observed in three dimensions without the need to use special glasses for this purpose.
The company Mirage Technologies, based in Valencia, announced that it is offering this type of reconversion with which some companies have already had the opportunity to exhibit their productions in 3D without glasses.
It is estimated that in about four years the 3D era with glasses will end to give way to this revolutionary system that will enter the commercial field. Currently, the large producers of this technology are in the process of transitioning their own software to a hardware solution that is included in autostereoscopic TVs or that allows them to be connected to a decoder or 3D Blu-ray.
