Colombia. The company Energy & Electronics Technologies presented last Friday, July 15, the first encoder available in the local market for the Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT) signal.
The TéDI set-top box, which is on sale in supermarkets and chain stores, was developed and optimized especially for the European DVB-T digital television model, adopted by the Andean country.
In that sense, Santiago Espinal, general manager of the company explained that "the development of the decoder was carried out in conjunction with researchers from South Korea and Colombian designers who for two years worked to achieve the best adaptation to the digital television model used in Colombia."
Finally, TéDI is committed to offering services such as live and scheduled recording, deferred playback, access to a programming guide and media playback, regardless of the type of TV used.
