International . The company Pioneer Electronics presented the new features that will bring its 3D Blu-ray player equipment, which seek to improve the home theater experience.
The new equipment is designed with a series of features that include improved charging times, wireless connection capacity (AS -WL300 is required) and audio and video streaming from Pandora, YouTube and NetFlix, as well as high-definition audio and video playback from USB and DLNA sources.
"An excellent home theater experience starts with the best quality in audio and video playback with the latest technologies. These new features allow access to online content and other sources," said Chris Walker, director of AV product marketing and planning for Pioneer's home entertainment division.
There are three new 3D Blu-ray players: the Pioneer BDP-140 and two models of the Elite brand, BDP-52FD and BDP 53FD. These offer 1080p of flawless image as well as 3D video output with the latest HDMI 1.4a, allowing the passage of the high data transfer rate required by the 3D Blu-ray format.
Each model also supports the latest high-quality audio formats such as DTS-HD Master Audio, Dolby TrueHD and Super Audio CD. For convenient control of the home theater system, the Pioneer iControlAV2 app turns smartphones and various tablets into the remote controls of the players. The app is available for iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch and Android devices.
Prices for these players range from $200 to $500.
