Mexico. Cinemagic, a cinema chain in Mexico, and Christie announced the joint digitization of the 70 screens operated by Cinemagic in that country.
Christie has provided a variety of Solaria One+ and CP2220 projectors for Cinemagic's complexes, facilitated by Scrabble Ventures S. de R.L. de C.V., a deployment entity whose conversion financing with compatible DCI digital cinema projectors helps all types of cinemas make the switch to digital technology.
"With Christie supplying the highest quality digital cinema equipment and technical support, Cinemagic can now offer its audience the highest quality in film screening in each of the towns where we have a presence," said Roberto Quintero, CEO of Cinemagic.
"Cinemagic is commendable in its mission to bring cinema to small communities without entertainment options in Mexico," said Ernesto Armus, General Manager of Christie Mexico. "We are honored to be part of their mission and are committed to supplying Cinemagic with the world's leading digital projection hardware, software and services."
Roberto Quintero said: "We are sure that with the dedication, effort and hand in hand with our strategic allies we will ensure the growth and consolidation of the project to continue successfully bringing cinema to the small communities of our country."
