New control and dimming solutions in LED lights

International. As part of Lutron's latest developments in the lighting control sector and dimming solutions for LED technology, the company introduced Quantum and EcoSystem systems, as well as new ballasts for dimming LED devices and new designs for RF blind systems and plates, taking advantage of the Light+Building 2014 fair in Frankfurt, Germany.

Oscar Rodriguez, Sales Director Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean, comments: "Light+Building 2014 offers the perfect opportunity to showcase our full range of residential and commercial solutions, and the capabilities of our smooth transition dimming systems for LED-enabled devices. These solutions, available in the coming months for Latin America, maximize energy savings through lighting control and interconnectivity."

Among the products is the extension of the capabilities of the EcoSystem Series 5 LED dimming ballast. Now available in a 50W version, the  LED driver allows a minimum attenuation of 5% in linear, hanging and recessed devices of 600x600mm, inlet lighting and LED strips. It also offers a 25W version for the minimum attenuation of 1% in architectural lighting applications.

A new Radio Window sensor has been added to the comprehensive Quantum system. The sensor communicates the exterior lighting levels to the Quantum system, being able to temporarily change the pre-programmed levels during low light conditions, and in this way raise blinds and maximize the exterior view and the use of natural light.

Lutron's new QP4 Hub combines the Quantum processor and motorized curtain panels into a single component, reducing costs and installation times in commercial applications. The combination of Hyperion solar technology with a Quantum processor allows simultaneous control of up to ten curtain systems with maximum energy savings.

A new configurable lighting control, Lutron's DIN Rail panel, has also been added to the Quantum product family. This pre-assembled and tested panel is configurable for multiple controls, creating a universal yet flexible and reliable solution for commercial lighting control.
