Latin America. The new Christie Boxer 4K30 projector combines the highest number of lumens, the highest number of pixels and 3DLP quality with a lightweight, small and heavy-duty design.
The first installment of the new Boxer Series, the Boxer 4K30 seeks to become a reference point for the sector, both for the rental of equipment for events and shows, as well as in fixed facilities, such as concert halls, recreational parks, mapping projects, museums, planetariums, and much more.
The Boxer 4K30's six 450W mercury lamps ensure a power of 30,000 lumens in the center. With a weight of less than 68 kilograms, two people are enough to transport it. But in addition, it offers native 4K resolution and incorporates the multi-award-winning Christie Tru-Life image processor.
Housed in two three-lamp cartridges, the six long-lasting mercury lamp modules are easy to handle, maintain, replace and store, resulting in greater use of the money invested and the use of fewer consumables. Near Field Communication (NFC) technology allows the user to check the number of hours and serial numbers of each lamp, which greatly simplifies the task of tracking lamp life and helps speed up changes. To this we must add the possibility of monitoring the living standards of the lamps with a smartphone.
Boxer's Christie TruLife™ electronic package also easily supports the highest demands in high bit depth, high-frequency imaging, native 4K signals and HD signals with built-in upconversion, making it as easy as possible to fit into existing HD workflows.
The Christie Boxer Series offers extensive connectivity including 3G-SDI HDBaseT, Display Port, DVI-I, HDMI, VGA, and 5 BNC, plus the possibility of color LCD reading panel for preview, a full set of lenses, and even its own built-in toolbox.
The Christie Boxer 4K30 will be available in April, with a three-year warranty for parts and labor.
