International. Lightware Visual Engineering, manufacturer of video switching arrays, extension systems and interfaces, announced its official compatibility with Panasonic's Digital Link projection systems.
Panasonic adopted HDBaseT technology early, and through its Digital Link range, enables direct connectivity of HDMI/DVI, Ethernet and RS232 communication over a single CATx cable. In recent years, Lightware has also developed a wide range of HDBaseT support products under its TPS product line.
After a successful trial period, Lightware confirmed that its entire family of TPS products are compatible with Panasonic Digital Link projectors. Both point-to-point routing and extension can be simplified by connecting one of Lightware's TX95 series extenders or modular extension boards directly to the Digital Link poyector input over a single CATx cable.
