International. Polycom and Microsoft announced an expansion of the relationship through which Polycom plans to deliver a new series of video collaboration solutions specially designed for Skype for Business, called RoundTable.
The first device in this new offering is the RoundTable 100, an affordable, easy-to-use video solution that will allow small and medium-sized businesses and Skype for Business and Microsoft Lync 2013 teams to enjoy rich collaboration experiences, including voice, video, and content collaboration, simply by signing in to their Skype for Business account.
RoundTable 100 will take just a few minutes to set up and get started, and it won't require on-premises corporate or infrastructure domains, making it easy to use and without IT assistance.
Polycom and Microsoft have worked together for more than a decade to make collaboration easier and more intuitive. Since Microsoft's entry into unified communications, Polycom has developed the broadest portfolio of voice, video, and content collaboration solutions that are integrated and qualified by Microsoft. RoundTable will add to Polycom's portfolio of more than 40 existing solutions that integrate with Polycom's Lync and Skype for Business.
The RoundTable 100 for Skype for Business will be available in the summer of 2015.
