International. Lutron Electronics presented its latest technological advancements at Lightfair International 2015. The annual architectural and commercial lighting fair and conference held in New York City.
"The global language of lighting – the central theme of Lightfair this year – speaks to the inherent power in light to transform any space or building into a personal oasis. Lutron knows this better than anyone. That's why we're very proud to share the latest and most innovative collection of controls for LED lighting and daylighting control, which set a new aesthetic and energy-saving standard in offices, homes, hotel rooms and entire buildings," said Eric Lind, Global Vice President of Specifications at Lutron Electronics.
Due to their high potential for energy savings, Lutron products that have been launched in Latin America prioritize the rapid adoption of LED technology in new buildings and major renovations. Among them, the new EcoSystem H-Series line of LED ballasts offers soft-on and fade-to-black for LED luminaires, while EcoSystem technology integrated into GE's new Lumination luminaire and the new XIM LED module, under development by Xicato, provides assured compatibility for intelligent digital LED control.
And thinking about the needs of luminaire manufacturers, Lutron developed the QwikFig program for the on-demand configuration of ballasts for LED devices.
Another priority of Lutron is aesthetics, always at the service of energy saving. The myRoom system in its prime and plus versions, specially developed for hotels that need their spaces to be elegant and intelligent, increases the comfort of guests and optimizes staff operations and the management of property resources.
In the aesthetic aspect we find that, on many occasions, in the rooms of hotels, residences, offices, among other spaces; the appearance of thermostats does not coordinate harmoniously with the other controls within the space. With this in mind, the Palladiom keyboard offers a clean, elegant design and the first in its category to feature keyboards and plates made of the same material – plastic, glass or metal – for uniform decoration.
