Brazil. The Metropolitan Cathedral of Sao Paulo, one of the most important monuments in the city, now has a sophisticated digital audio system, EVO 300 installed by the company Lando.
Using 100% digital technology, the EVO 300 System equalizes sound waves so that everyone can clearly hear what is transmitted by the microphones. Gregor Milbers, director of Lando, explained that "one of the biggest challenges in environments such as the Cathedral is that the audio flows evenly throughout the entire extension of the room, and the EVO 300 system does it perfectly."
The current facility uses 70% fewer speakers than before and facilitates the transmission of events by radio and television. "Another benefit is the design that integrates the speakers without harming or interfering with the beautiful architecture of the cathedral," milbers concludes.
Lando is a company with 35 years of experience recognized for the superior quality in the residential segment. In 2005, following the same pattern of excellence, they created a sound design department for the corporate environment, focused on the standardization of sound systems for national retail chains and church sound.
