International. NEC introduced the UM352Wi ultra-short-distance projector for educational environments, enabling greater collaboration and group learning thanks to integrated interactive tools. It offers a fully interactive solution that can be used independently or through a PC or other devices.
Schools, universities and companies need to have interactive technology, such as the one used by this projector, in order to achieve their objectives related to collaborative learning. The ultra-short-haul UM352Wi offers a wide variety of features such as the option to connect up to 50 devices wirelessly. It also allows you to share content from a tablet instantly using Miracast technology and NEC DisplayNote software with advanced collaboration features such as voting and annotation.
"NEC is aware that the technology investments made by educational institutions need to support a more interactive and collaborative learning vision," says Ulf Greiner, Product Line Manager Business Projectors at NEC Display Solutions Europe. "Companies want to enable this type of learning in classrooms and meeting rooms but without having to add complexity. NEC's interactive projectors offer a valuable asset by offering this balance," he concludes.
The 3500 ANSI Lumens projector has the interactive module incorporated and has two interactive pens to work on any white surface and make annotations. Students can make on-screen annotations without using a computer. Setup is very simple thanks to the auto-calibration and screen curve correction function. The device also allows to establish a greater link with the audience thanks to the reduction of shadow and brightness. Touch functions can also be easily added through the configuration of the additional NP01TM Touch Module software.
