International. From July, all of Idea's passive, bi-, tri- and quatri-amplified systems will be amplified with a new rack of system amplifiers called the Idea ProRack Series, based on QSC's PLD Series amplifiers.
As a result of a technical collaboration between the European manufacturer, based in Galicia, Spain, and the multinational based in California, it introduces to the market a range of complete professional sound reinforcement systems, optimized to maximize the performance of the Idea product catalog.
The PLD Series is undoubtedly the optimal solution for the amplification and processing of Idea configurations thanks to its revolutionary FAST technology (Flexible Amplification™ Sum Technology) that allows maximizing the high power density and excellent acoustic performance of Idea's increasingly valued systems, offering a wide and flexible range of options both in different configurations and when scaling and increasing the size of the systems.
Idea will offer the system configurations in closed solutions around the ProRack Series. Each rack will provide the power, processing control and audio connections needed with 1, 2 or 4 units of PLD 4.5, amplifier and 4-channel DSP. Starting in autumn 2015, smaller solutions around QSC's PLD 4.2 will be presented.
The models of the ProRack Series will include as standard a customized version especially for the Models and Configurations of Idea, with specific presets for them already loaded in the native software and that can also be downloaded from the QSC and IDEA websites.
