Lutron Launches New Smart Home Solutions

International. As part of Lutron's most recent developments in the wireless control sector of electric and natural lighting, the company showed at CEDIA Show 2015 the new additions to its prestigious lines of Palladiom and seeTouch C.L. control panels, GRAFIK T attenuators; Ivalo Collection LED luminaires and blinds operated by Sivoia QS Triathlon batteries. 

As well as a mobile application and a cloud device with which the company hopes to further simplify the use of the latest technologies for the home with the RadioRA2 and HomeWorks QS systems.

"CEDIA 2015 has given us the perfect opportunity to present our full range of residential solutions, which in addition to having innovative designs, are an example of cutting-edge technology that allows the user to live in their homes today, the experience of the house of the future," said Oscar Rodríguez, sales director of Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean.

Mobile app and cloud device

RadioRA 2 and Homeworks QS are the first Lutron products to work with Lutron's new cloud device called Connect Bridge and the Lutron Connect App, which enable control of electric and natural home lighting via phones or tablets running IOS or Android operating systems. These tools allow you to turn a house into a smart home quickly, easily and affordably. Some of the attributes of the new mobile app and cloud device include:

Notifications to AppleWatch

Geofencing: Indicates changes in light temperature or movement of blinds

HomeGlance dashboard for mobile devices: makes it easy to use the lutron Connect App

Low Battery Status: Provides low battery status notification in the Lutron Connect App  for Radio Powr Savr occupancy sensors and Serena blinds and remote control systems.
