International. First unveiled at ISE 2015, Panasonic's PT-RQ13K projector integrates a Quad Pixel Drive system that generates highly detailed 4K+ images with similar quality to cinema projections.
The projector's optical axis moves horizontally and vertically at a maximum speed of 240 Hz and generates four different pixels from a single point, allowing the image density to quadruple.
The new generation of detail clarity processors analyzes the requirements of each extra pixel and optimizes the output to deliver smooth, detailed high-contrast images.
"Panasonic has traditionally been a very popular supplier in the rental markets and scenarios for the manufacturing quality and compact nature of its projectors. The housing size of the PT-RQ13K is about half that of some competing 4K resolution products, it has omnidirectional orientation capability and is compatible with our current 3-chip lenses, so we are confident that it will capture the attention of professionals in the rental and scenario markets." says Hartmut Kulessa, Panasonic's director of product marketing for Europe.
The projector also includes a fail-safe dual-drive laser optical motor that guarantees a light source life of 20,000 hours and a laser light source motor that allows uninterrupted use of the equipment.
Its new liquid cooling system reduces operating noise and maximizes the performance of the laser light source. These features create a platform that opens up new possibilities for the digital signage sector, such as permanent 3D mapping shows.
