Latin America. Panasonic presented a new range of professional displays with new functions to improve their reliability in digital signage applications. Panasonic's LF8 and LF80 series of displays, which have been on sale since November, are professional-grade panels capable of operating uninterruptedly.
Characterized by having a high brightness level of between 700 cd/m2 (in the case of the LF80 series) and 500 cd/m2 (in the case of the LF8 series), these displays are available in sizes of 42", 49" and 55" and also integrate a wide viewing angle and an elegant design.
All of them have a frame of only 6.5 mm and a depth of 56.8 mm, which guarantees a perfect reproduction of the images even in large formats.
These new displays are the worthy succesors of the LF6 and LF60 series and feature an exceptional failover and failback function that allows them to select an alternative signal if the main one is interrupted. In addition, in these new series Panasonic has also incorporated a USB media player, a USB connection for STB power supply and a USB cloning function.
In addition, the LF80 is compatible with DIGITAL LINK, which allows video, audio and control signals to be transmitted up to 100 m through a single LAN cable.
"The expansion of functions makes this range of displays out of the ordinary. The ability to play content without the need for an external player and the failover functionality facilitate in an unprecedented way the creation and maintenance of large digital signage applications, "explained Enrique Robledo, marketing director of Panasonic.
