The UHBX-SW3 is a kit that incorporates a transmitter with multi-input wall plate and an HDBaseT receiver. The wall plate fits 2 HDMI inputs and a VGA with audio. It also supports MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) with charging phone that allows video presentation from a smartphone using a passive cable.
VGA input can also accept YPbPr Component video. The wall board can manually or automatically switch between the various video inputs and extend the video using standard HDBaseT.
To control the on/off function from the remote display, the wall plate can generate RS232 and IR signal control which can be extended using the Cat 6 cable. Virtually all HDMI and VGA resolutions are supported including 4K (UHD). 4K video can extend up to 330 ft (100m) while 1080p signals can go as far as 500 ft (150m).
The wall plate is driven through the same receiver cable using PoH (Power-over-HDBaseT), making installations quick and simple. A compatible receiver (UHBX-R-PSE) is built into the kit.
