Audio Technica
Audio-Technica announces its new ATND971 cardioid condenser surface network microphone, which reduces the distance between audio and information technology (IT) as the first wired microphone to transmit both audio and control data via Audinate's Dante network protocol. Dante is a real plug-and-play solution, which uses standard internet protocols to distribute digital audio and control data with very low latency.
The ATND971 surface microphone represents the true convergence of audio and IT, and not only delivers audio quality, with vocal intelligibility and transparent sound, but also transmits control data to enable communication across a network of devices using Dante technology.
The built-in programmable user switch allows users to activate the horizontal/vertical movement of a video camera, retrieve lighting presets or control any other network function at the touch of a button.
And thanks to the red/green indicator light, the microphone can visually transmit the silent state, incoming phone calls or other creative visual effects that a control system uses. The microphone connects to the network via an Ethernet cable, easy to install and use. Includes UniGuard radio frequency interference protection technology and UniSteep bass cut filter.
