Just Add Power's HD/IP products allow you to simultaneously send an HDMI signal to one or more displays on a single CATx cable ethernet infrastructure. The flexibility, range and scalability of an ethernet network is brought into the world of A/V distribution.
One of the main benefits of HD/IP is that when used in conjunction with the configuration of a compatible managed ethernet switch, a flexible matrix-HDMI distribution solution can be created, allowing switching of any combination.
Virtually unlimited distribution combinations (source x display) can be created. From one source x 200 monitors in a commercial project, to 10 fonts x 30 screens in a luxury home. This is made possible through the process of "stacking" compatible ethernet switches so that it allows to grow beyond the normal limit of 48 ports. Only the number of ports available in the chosen Ethernet LAN configuration limits the size of the project.
