The quality of the speakers and the talks given during the first day of academic activity were the aspects most valued by the attendees at TecnoMultimedia InfoComm 2011.
Among the exhibitions held during the day was the one led by Juan Fernando Montoya, sales manager Centro & South America Communications Division of Bosch, who made a detailed description of the installation process of audio solutions for the stadiums of the FIFA U20 World Cup in Colombia.
Montoya explained that his goal with the talk was to offer some basic guidelines that would allow installers to be clear about the parameters to carry out projects of this type.
The speaker also pointed out that compared to the 2010 version of the Congress, TecnoMultimedia InfoComm 2011 presents a very positive outlook, showing a greater number of attendees and a very striking Commercial Sample due to the participation of both distributors and the main manufacturers.
Another of the topics addressed during the first day of the event was "Intelligent integrated control systems", dictated by Nelson Baumgratz. InfoComm's CTS instructor stated that his intention with this talk was to share a new philosophy regarding the implementation of building control technologies.
For his part, Rafael Herrera was in charge of giving the talk "Audiovisual integration in today's classroom", the main conclusion reached by the participants of the conference pointed to the use of the opportunities offered by this market.
The speaker also noted that the decrease in prices has been a key factor in achieving a greater implementation of audiovisual systems in the educational field.
The activities of the day culminated with the presentation of Aicardo Pardo, who spoke about the basic acoustic requirements necessary for the common enclosures of the companies, especially in reference to the conditioning and acoustic treatment.
Finally, the Commercial Exhibition drew attention to the magnitude and elaboration of the stands of the participating companies, in addition to strengthening its position as the ideal space to present the latest technological advances and new trends in terms of equipment and techniques.
The second day of talks will begin at 8:30 a.m. (local time) on Thursday, November 10 with the conference "Fundamental Principles of AV Design for a Conference Room".
