Second day of TecnoMultimedia InfoComm

altMexico. After successfully finishing the first day ofTecnoMultimedia InfoComm México, attendees started the second day of the fair with training, commercial exhibition and a large live broadcast, which were part of the schedule of activities this Thursday.


There were five sessions of this day focused on the design, the High Definition video and the electrical load of AV equipment. With the conference "Fundamentals of Acoustics for Professional AV Installations", by Nelson Baumgratz of InfoComm University, the Academic Program of the event began.

The day progressed with the presentation on "The Characteristics of EDID Communication". The person in charge was the American Néstor Zarazua, current regional manager for Latin America and the Caribbean of Extron. Ricardo Mallen, a specialist in design and administration and who trained the attendees in relation to "Electric Power in AV Projects: Basic precautions and design criteria", was presented at the Tarasco Zapoteca room of the WTC.

The trainings ended in the afternoon with talks on "The Move to High Definition in the World of Video", by Josefina Reyes of Crestron Latinoamerica; and "The Skills for Success in the New Economy", offered by Luis Fernando Hinojosa of Gliders Vision. The latter, gave elements to discover the basic skills to be a high-performing person in the AV industry, what should be done to better use the Internet, and where to focus energy and work with passion to take care of the customer, serve him and solve his problems.

In the same way and parallel to the Academic Programming of TecnoMultimedia InfoComm, in the Press Room, Kolo Academy had the seminar on digital signage; session that seeks to deliver a clear idea about the components of a Digital Signage network, what are the technological trends and how the Mexican market currently behaves in this segment.

At 6:00 p.m. the organization will offer a welcome cocktail for exhibitors, attendees, press and special guests.

Highlights from the first day of the event
On this first day of the fair, the 37 exhibiting companies took center stage and exhibited their novelties. Professional AV integration systems, projection screens, display equipment, wired and wireless microphones, home automation systems, solutions for audio, video and multimedia data communication, as well as new technologies for indoor and outdoor lighting, were some of the highlights.

The live broadcast from the Congress was another of the great attractions. News, interviews with exhibitors, speakers and industry specialists, were successfully broadcast from the virtual set of TecnoMultimedia InfoComm 2012 and AVI Latin America Magazine.

The recording session, which began at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, lasted until 4:15 p.m. and had as interviewees the speakers Nelson Baumgratz, Rodrigo Casassus of InfoComm International and Gastón L. Ciminieri of Congress Colombia.

TecnoMultimedia Mexico will run until Friday, August 10 at 8:00 p.m. and can be seen live through the web portal of the event www.tecnomultimedia.com, and that of AVI Latin America Magazine www.avilatinoamerica.com.
