Sustainability consists of ensuring that the development of today's needs does not affect the needs of future generations, although it is common for many to relate the term to ecology or the environment.
More and more industries are applying the concept of sustainability with a long-term vision, both of the solutions and reducing the negative effects that each project may have. And the audiovisual industry is no exception. With pleasure I have learned that an interest has begun to awaken on the part of AV integrators, who are thinking about their projects in a sustainable and environmentally friendly way.
Having sustainable audiovisual projects, or green if you like, does not need large investments, it only requires thinking about the projects with another vision to what is being done, executing small changes that adding efforts, in the long run will bring great benefits for the AV industry, and for all of us who inhabit the planet.
For example, think about solutions that have a duration that extends over time, with new technologies that reduce energy consumption, contemplate technological waste management plans, material recycling programs during the execution of projects. They are small steps that simply require a new way of seeing and doing things.
Therefore, the invitation from AVI LATINOAMÉRICA is to take some time to think about how their projects, in addition to being innovative and high-tech, can apply the concept of sustainability.
