Colombia. With the aim of publicizing its latest solutions, the Belden company held meetings in recent days with integrators of the different segments it serves, in the cities of Quito, Ecuador, and Medellín, Colombia.
The meetings were in charge of Laura Bernal, representative of the company for the Andean Region, and Juan Cortés, Sales Manager for Mexico of the Broadcast and Audio-Video Professional line. AVI LATINOAMÉRICA spoke with the latter who told more details of these activities.
"We are making different belden presentation breakfasts, both from the Enterprise range, dedicated to infrastructure for data centers and connectivity for voice and data, and for the broadcast and Audio/Video part, which is the segment where we have taken out a new catalog after buying several companies, providing a complete and competitive offer," said Juan Cortés.
He added that in this segment, in which they want to grow strongly in Latin America, it includes cables for speakers, for lighting, to all the part of structured cabling for audio and video, which has been well received.
As a novelty, the company presented a new coaxial for UHD 4K that supports up to 12g of frequency, to give life to the coaxial in the television installations. In the commercial audio and video part, a new structured cabling manufactured for HDBaseT, which has a very low failure rate.
Finally, Juan Cortés stressed that the gap between professional audio and video with broadcast is getting shorter. "With the increase in the technological level of commercial audio and video, today there are corporate rooms that have nothing to envy to television stations. Another example is Dante, who became widespread in professional audio and video and today television is using him."
