Colombia. The manufacturer Datapath has strengthened its presence in Latin America by signing the terms with the main Colombian distributor, Automa. The agreement, agreed before the TecnoMultimedia InfoComm Colombia exhibition, will allow Automa and Datapath to join forces at one of Colombia's most important AV fairs, showcasing a selection of Datapath's multi-display products including the iolite range of video wall controllers, VSNMicro controllers and Quant software.
Automa is one of Colombia's leading providers of professional AV solutions for applications including video walls, digital signage and control centers. The company, which constantly strives to improve its customer offering through the integration of new brands into its portfolio, has more than 13 years of experience in providing technological solutions for the public and private sectors.
Datapath and Automa will make their first public appearance together at Stand 401 at TMI Colombia (www.tecnomultimedia.com.co). The show will take place at the Corferias International Convention and Exhibition Center in Bogotá, open daily from 13:00 to 20:00. TMI Colombia has been growing year on year, with approximately 4600 visitors attending from across the Latin American region in 2016.
At the Automa booth, visitors will be able to see the latest cutting-edge Datapath multi-display products for the professional AV market, including the iolite range, a series of discreet and elegant controllers for small and medium-scale video walls found in retail, corporate reception and meeting room environments. These innovative controllers offer low noise emissions and high levels of customization and flexibility.
Visitors to TMI Colombia will also be able to get to know the VSNMicro 600, which offers great performance from a small space. This compact controller consists of a high-performance motherboard that is connected to Datapath's Express6 PCIe backplane containing six half-length slots for use with the Datapath card range. VSNMicro is highly customizable and has been designed to be very quiet for deployment in areas that will not support a standard-sized wall controller chassis.
From a software standpoint, TMI Colombia will provide the perfect backdrop to showcase Datapath's new advanced application sharing software, Quant. Designed for video wall users working in collaborative enterprise environments, or operations centers and control rooms, Quant's unique capabilities allow users to view and share applications, as well as interact with and make changes to the original source files. Offering broad market appeal, this innovative new software has been designed to work alongside Datapath's WallControl 10 software.
