International. With a new platform for smart housing and building projects, the KNX Association is creating a new central touchpoint for novel and innovative KNX installations from around the world in https://projects.knx.org. From now on, system integrators, builders and architects will be able to present their own KNX projects in a visually appealing way to a wide audience around the world with just a few clicks. More than 500 projects have already been published since its launch.
The numerous projects on the new KNX project platform illustrate what is already technically possible thanks to KNX's world-leading solutions for smart homes and buildings. "With KNX-based Smart Home smart home solutions, tomorrow's life can become a reality today. In addition, KNX projects illustrate how increasingly complex trades can be automated in public and commercial buildings with impressive results," said Franz Kammerl, President of the KNX Association, excited about the wide range of KNX projects from around the world.
The new KNX project platform is available in six languages and is aimed at KNX projects of all types and sizes. Through a search function, stakeholders can quickly find the right projects and get an overview of the most important facts of a project. The images in the project also provide exciting impressions. It is also easy to contact the relevant project manager. "This is another added value of our new platform: it brings together stakeholders and system integrators and therefore also new KNX projects," explained Franz Kammerl, President of KNX.
A further extension of the already varied functionality of the KNX project platform has already been carried out: project managers can now publish full documentation and videos about their KNX projects, making them even more tangible for stakeholders. In addition to this, system integrators will find a number of additional features, including – among many others – the ability to upload their own KNX project files so that they can view them through their MyKNX account (not publicly visible to everyone, but exclusively to the respective project managers).
