9 years ago the company was established in Colombia, with the aim of actively participating in the local market, providing the innovation of the main brands with which it maintained a relationship since its inception in Venezuela and subsequently offering an experience center with solutions for different business verticals, from Bogotá to the whole country.
In conversation with AVI LATINOAMÉRICA, Felipe Salcedo, Financial Manager of Audio Concept of Colombia, explained the details of the headquarters located in Bogotá, Colombia, in which they have been able to have a showroom segmented according to the market and the type of product. It is a particular model in Latin America, since the venue is designed to perform equipment testing, has two demo rooms for HiFi, intelligent boardroom, a concert hall with PRO systems and the ability to offer training for each type of client, directly supported by the manufacturers of the brands they represent for the realization of certifications for the management of solutions, automation and control, being an integral space open to end customers, distributors, integrators and industry professionals.
The distribution strategically oriented by floor, takes advantage of the exhibition and demonstration space for each business vertical which allows synergies between the development of the activities that begin with direct sales and distribution of professional or entertainment equipment: audio for venues and touring, lighting of shows and effects, structures, audio programming and light design, Dj, commercial audio, focused on markets of rental companies, restaurants, nightclubs, theaters, warehouses, religious temples.
They also have a Project Management in charge of a team of professionals in the areas of engineering and systems, industrial design, sound engineering, specialists in the development and accompaniment in projects, advice and training for their clients and commercial allies in the corporate, industrial, institutional, commercial and residential channels.
Regarding the residential market, one of the most significant verticals for Audio Concept has been the high end equipment. Today they merge the public's demand for high fidelity with the concept of smart home, taking the HiFi experience to another level and competing both in the local market, such as Venezuela and more recently in Miami in the USA, with the CasaHiFi brand of Audio Concept that completely encloses in its concept the value of the competitive residential market, commented Felipe Salcedo.
In addition, the company has developed a technical service department specialized in each of the brands that are marketed, which allows to comply with warranty, service, maintenance, parts and pieces locally.
The company that was founded by the initiative of three brothers 30 years ago, within the market of the minitekas of the time in Venezuela, today maintains an active presence in three markets in the region – Colombia, Venezuela, Panama, while venturing into the USA, with the commitment to keep within reach of its customers the best brands in the world, robust and easy-to-implement solutions.
Today there are 35 people who are part of Audio Concept of Colombia and the objective is to position the company as the center of solutions in the Colombian market. According to the company's financial manager, this commitment has allowed it to triple business since its inauguration and position itself as a solid company open to its customers.
