Datapath launched Aetria, a comprehensive solution for control rooms

datapath, aetriaLatin America. Datapath introduced the first fully integrated platform designed specifically for control room environments. Aetria brings together all the elements of control room design, management, control and monitoring in a single solution, enabling integrators and end users to design systems to meet a broad set of requirements, including connectivity, video walls, workstations and source management, ranging from small to very large installations.

Aetria has been designed to facilitate content sharing for operators, as well as facilitate control, management and security for administrators. It manages the underlying technology that allows users to focus on their core goals.

Explaining the years of development that have driven the spirit of Aetria, Bjorn Krylander, Managing Director of Datapath, said: "Today's control rooms are very complex, with an ever-increasing demand for sources, data and secure multi-point sharing. Our systems are reliable in mission-critical environments at the highest levels of government and we have used that extensive experience to bring simple and secure 'any source/any screen' management to control rooms."

With Aetria, Datapath is also introducing various workstation options, depending on end-user requirements and connectivity preferences. Aetria Workstation's complete solution offers nearly unlimited connectivity and flexibility for viewing, sharing, and source control, while workarounds provide more secure environments as per requirements.

Datapath's award-winning VSN controllers are fully compatible and are easier to manage with Aetria than ever before. Aetria can also work in harmony with established third-party hardware, such as AMX and Crestron, through its application programming interface (API).

Bjorn Krylander adds, "The shift to AV over IP fundamentally changes the way control rooms and other large AV display solutions can be built. Aetria is an ambitious solution that integrates both the delivery process and the operations and management of complex AV environments."

Designed to provide security and reliability in mission-critical applications, Aetria offers numerous unique components to benefit both integrators and end users:

- Aetria Designer
- Aetria Command Center
- Aetria Workstation
- Built-in diagnostics
- State-of-the-art security
