Loudness Projetos Especiais, winner in 2014
The installation of the company Loudness Projetos Especiais in the National Stadium of Brasilia, and led by Marcos Pilot, was the winner of the first version of the AV Latino Contest, held by AVI LATINOAMÉRICA magazine.
This project consisted of a sound system solution provided to the Brasilia National Stadium, in Brasilia, capital of Brazil, which has a capacity for 70,000 people, for the 2013 Confederations Cup, and 2014 World Cup.
Basically, it is a multi-zone speaker system, designed to bring audio to all points of the stadium. Different types of speakers were specified, according to the different environments.
It is a modular speaker system, which allows the designer to choose different coverage modules, among the 42 available types, to build a set capable of covering a certain area with uniform power.
The winning work was chosen by the readers of AVI LATINOAMÉRICA magazine through virtual voting among four finalists from Colombia, Chile and, of course, Brazil.
