International. Lighting solutions manufacturer Chauvet opened its new global headquarters in Davie, Florida, which is more than 175,000 square feet and houses exclusive, state-of-the-art centers for its product development, quality control, customer service and global supply chain teams.
The company's founder and CEO, Albert Chauvet, noted that the move to a new, expanded, green-thinking facility is much more than having the size to run a rapidly growing business that designs products for productions in more than 100 countries worldwide.
Specifically designed by the Chauvet team and its architectural partners, the new facility was built around the vision of improving the company's service delivery and client engagement at all levels and supporting the R+D efforts behind its growing family of brands: CHAUVET Professional, CHAUVET DJ, Kino. Flo, ChamSys, LynTec, Iluminarc and Trustst.
The new facility serves as the global headquarters of Chauvet, a global force with 10 subsidiary offices worldwide in the U.S., Belgium, U.K., France, Germany, Mexico, and Singapore. Two of the three locations within the U.S. and one of the seven overseas locations are also dedicated to the company's acquired brands ChamSys, Kino Flo, and LynTec.
Product development has always driven Chauvet's heart. Therefore, it is not surprising that a large R+D center is the highlight of the company's new headquarters. The new center features advanced measurement and testing equipment that will enable Chauvet's team of developers, who have designed multiple award-winning products, to take their efforts to new heights.
In terms of streamlining customer service, the new warehouse has been reimagined in terms of state-of-the-art equipment and innovative processes. As a result, shipments can now be received and sent with a level of speed and accuracy unmatched in the entertainment lighting industry.
Chauvet has also enhanced its already high standards of product excellence and reliability with the expanded quality control center in its new building, which features advanced testing equipment. The company's repair center has also been boosted with more space and technology.
While the service and repair centers will largely operate "behind the scenes," what is sure to attract immediate attention among visitors is the new Flagship Experience Center, which will give customers and guests the opportunity to immerse themselves in the latest lighting and control technology. The thoughtfully designed center offers a comfortable environment for product demonstrations, seminars, and hands-on learning.
Empowering product developers and improving customer education are not things that can be measured in hard numbers, such as the size of a warehouse. But at the new headquarters in Chauvet, they will make a big difference to the company and its customers.
