Latin America. Schneider Electric has appointed Arthur Wong as the new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) for South America. In this position, the executive will be responsible for the development and execution of the brand and marketing strategy in the region.
In his new role, Wong will have the challenge of leading the planning and implementation of marketing actions, with the aim of boosting brand awareness, digitally engaging customers and contributing to the growth of the company's businesses.
The executive arrives at Schneider Electric with the mission of expanding the awareness of the company's customer and partner ecosystem, in the face of the need to have clear goals in relation to decarbonization and energy efficiency.
Arthur will also focus on mobilizing this entire ecosystem regarding the urgency of this transformation, highlighting the need for companies to set and act quickly towards their own decarbonization goals, measuring and achieving tangible results.
"My contribution at Schneider Electric will focus on integrating progress and sustainability with technologies for energy management and automation. The world needs to promote efficiently sustainable initiatives, considering the current climate change scenario, in which greenhouse gas emissions are projected to be 2% below 2019 levels by 2030," says Wong.

With a dynamic and versatile profile, Wong has previously worked in the Marketing and Sales areas of large companies in the technology and automotive sector, such as Samsung Electronics, Electrolux, Ducati Motor Holding and Mercedes-Benz do Brazil."
