Colombia. Bogota will become the epicenter of innovation, technology, and sustainability by the end of July. This has been confirmed by Schneider Electric, which has selected the capital of Colombia as the venue for the Innovation Summit 2024, an event to develop conversations and share knowledge around digital transformation and its impact on the development of sustainable and efficient environments.
The event, which will take place on July 30 and 31 at the Agora Convention Center in Bogotá, will be attended by nearly 3,000 guests. They will have the opportunity to participate in an interesting academic agenda, made up of conferences, panels and other spaces, in which ideas are exchanged around the integration of technologies, automation, efficiency and sustainability.
"The sessions and spaces that have been programmed over the two days will offer a unique opportunity to explore the latest trends and technologies. From artificial intelligence to the Internet of Things, attendees will be able to understand the topics that are redefining the way we interact with energy and automation," says Javier Ortiz, President of the Andino Norte cluster (Colombia, Ecuador and Venezuela) of Schneider Electric.
The event is consolidated as the ideal scenario in which participants will be able to explore new solutions in energy management and automation. Guests will be able to discover why state-of-the-art technologies, such as smart devices and software platforms, are becoming the pillars on which a productive and efficient industry model is being consolidated.
One of the main focuses of the Innovation Summit will be the energy transition, a crucial topic both nationally and globally. There, industry leaders will share their perspectives and experiences on how they are driving this transformation towards a more sustainable and energy-efficient future.
"The synergy between innovation and technology drives transformative and lasting change. This union allows us to turn ambition into action. From smart factories to intuitive homes, the convergence of automation, electrification and digitalisation opens up new opportunities for sustainability and efficiency. By empowering everyone to optimize our resources, we can accelerate the energy transition and address the climate crisis. The Innovation Summit is the ideal platform to understand how we can advance this purpose," Ortiz adds.
Among the group of spokespersons of the organization who have confirmed their participation in the event are Manish Pant, Executive Vice President for International Operations; Rafael Segrera, Schneider Electric South America Zone President; Soffia Alarcón, Adjunct Associate Professor of International and Public Affairs; Peter Weckersser, Executive Vice President, Digital; Chris Dartnell, Senior V.P.
