Latin America. Felipe Vasco has been appointed as the new director of technology applications for Vertiv Latin America. In this role, he will lead dozens of professionals with multidisciplinary expertise distributed throughout the region.
The team, with a consultative approach, provides recommendations to customers on comprehensive data center technologies and services, with the goal of accelerating the adoption of compute capabilities.
"The Vasco team is a strategic core that collects information from all areas of the organization, as well as from customers and partners. From there, it designs innovative applications with excellent cost-benefit ratio, aligned with the best energy efficiency practices," said Alex Sasaki, vice president of Vertiv LATAM.

The Vasco team supports the largest data centers in Latin America, as well as sectors served by Vertiv's channel partners. "Our team offers consulting services combined with AI solutions for enterprise and telecom accounts, which in turn serve thousands of customers across diverse verticals and regions. This makes it easier to accelerate customer service and allows our innovation experts to understand the customer's business and propose leaps in quality and productivity in the management of their critical infrastructure," explains Vasco.
With 15 years of experience in the sector, Vasco is an electrical engineer graduated from Universidade Paulista (UNIP), has a specialization in Project Management from Mackenzie Presbyterian University, as well as the international ATD certification from the Uptime Institute. Prior to joining Vertiv, Vasco worked at Schneider and Green4T.
