On Oakley's high definition optical demonstration tours, the company publicly presents product development and testing procedures at sporting events. This tour takes place on 40-foot trailers.
The tour, which has had a high acceptance in the U.S. In the U.S., it was brought to Europe in order to introduce professional athletes and consumers to the testing equipment used in Oakley's laboratories, offering a first-hand look at the manufacture of Oakley sunglasses.
Ryan Evert, director of Oakley's O Labs, explains that high-end A/V equipment is used in each trailer. Such equipment, which is located on shelves, needs special energy protection, which is provided by Furman's PL-PRO DMC E, which helps maintain a constant flow of current and allows the equipment to operate in the best conditions.
"We are very excited to be part of this innovative tour already being presented in Europe," said Dave Keller, senior vice president of sales and marketing, Furman and Panamax. "The PL-PRO DMC E provides maximum performance to the A/V equipment in the Rolling O Labs, and ensures the protection of the equipment against increased voltage and peaks," he added.
