Mexico. "Recovering the desire to dream, remembering that music was made to be free and taking that step of faith, finding on the way the reason to live", is the premise that RWR (Rockwell Road) has engraved in the heart. Last year they played their music in every corner of Mexico and now the band's goal is Europe.
To do this, RWR and Sennheiser join forces to bring the band's original compositions to all young people who are willing to listen, fight for their dreams and become one with music. Riding bicycles, sleeping where the night catches them and eating what they find, Oliver Iturbe, Héctor Pulido, Cintia Concia, Abdeel Moreno and Leonor Arreaga, have only one goal: to make their music known at all costs.
Through his cameras RWR (Rockwell Road) has documented the struggle of a rock band to make themselves known. On September 28, 2013 they began a tour of Mexico covering more than 11,000 kilometers, playing in the 32 states of the Republic and managing to present -in just under a year-, 370 free concerts to young people in schools and public squares with the aim of sharing positive messages of solidarity and improvement.
Honored with the first place of the MTV Agents of Change for the inspiring contribution to youth in Mexico, the members of RWR (Rockwell Road) are ready to continue their journey and this year, their passion and dreams will lead them to internationalize. With a door tour, RWR (Rockwell Road) plans to travel to 21 countries across Europe, playing in places like Scotland, Czech Republic, Spain, France, Slovakia, Austria, Italy, Luxembourg, Belgium, among many others.
"Sennheiser has been a great engine, they gave us their trust and share our dream, which motivates us even more to keep fighting. " We are very happy because now we will make our music and our message known in Europe," said Héctor Pulido, bassist of the band.
Anaseth Martínez, Sennheiser's Marketing Manager for Latin America, said: "Sennheiser is a company that supports originality, creativity and innovation in all its performances, so being part of the RWR (Rockwell Road) tours came naturally to us. We wish them every success."
Armed with microphones from Sennheiser's XSW line, Rockwell Road is ready to continue on tour. The XS Wireless voice microphone set is perfect for singers or speakers, as it is easy to use and includes an all-in-one package.
The XSW's super-cardioid pattern condenser capsule delivers brilliant sound, with rf synchronization on remote channel, 24 MHz bandwidth, high feedback rejection and a mute button to maintain control at all times.
