International. Revolabs has launched its new wireless microphone system, designed to improve audio quality and simplify large deployments at scale.
Named Executive Elite, the new reference for boardrooms and conference rooms features four- and eight-channel wireless microphone systems, advanced features including a new distributed architecture, increased density, greater integration with room control systems, and cloud-based management capabilities.
The solution also includes secure AES-256 Revolabs' encryption with key dynamic updates every 60 seconds, plus flexible, AVB and analog USB audio output options. Using a new distributed architecture, the new system separates the antenna receiving unit away from the digital signal base processing unit (DSP).
The remote antenna receiver - either the wall or ceiling - and basic DSP units, are connected via a standard Cat 6 cable with Power over Ethernet (PoE) support for easy installation. As a result, the antenna unit of the remote receiver can be placed in the same room as the wireless microphones, greatly improving audio quality.
The system also introduces redesigned microphones that combine superior audio pickup, better signal-to-noise ratio, easy handling, and improved digital signal communication over wireless links.
The system will be available from the third quarter of 2013.
