Brazil. Epson, partnered with DIMEP to offer products that comply with the new tax regulation SAT-CF (Electronic Tax Coupon Verification and Transmitter System), which will come into force next July; initially it includes the gas stations and the new contributors of Sao Paulo.
"The purpose of this partnership is to offer taxpayers a complete solution, which combines the experience of two major players: DIMEP, which has led the access and point control market for 78 years, and Epson, a company that offers efficient solutions for the retail market," explains Klauber de Oliveira Santos, Director of Operations of DIMEP.
The purpose of this law is to electronically document the business operations of contributing retailers. The main objective of the D-SAT system is to generate, verify and transmit electronic tax coupons via the Internet, directly to the system of the Department of Finance (Sefaz).
DIMEP was the first company to approve this solution, which offers as one of its greatest advantages the reduction of costs and the simplification of tasks of the retailer. In addition, all the necessary information is on the network, in the Sefaz-SP back office system.
Epson, in turn, has four printers designed to comply with the SAT: the TM-T20, TM-T70II, TM-T88V and TM-H6000IV. The TM-T20 is a coupon thermal machine produced in Brazil. The TM-T70II, with 100% front supply and small dimensions, is characterized by perfectly adjusting to shelves with little space.
The third model, the TM-T88V is the best-selling thermal equipment in the world and the fastest in the company's entire line. In addition. The TM-H6000IV is a thermal copy copy of receipts, matrix for checks and document verification.
Both Epson and DIMEP are investing heavily in the relationship with software companies, and in this way helping their customers to adopt the SAT. "We are preparing some actions to strengthen the relationship and bring advantages for software partners, such as a promotion for the acquisition of a SAT solution for showroom (with subsidized price)," concluded the president of Epson Brazil.
