The UHBX-8X is a 1 RU device that converts 8 HDMI inputs to the corresponding HDBaseT outputs to extend up to 150 meters using UTP (Cat5e/6) cables.
The extender supports HDCP, deep colors, CEC, and 4K (UHD) resolution. HDBaseT outputs can be connected directly to displays equipped with HDBaseT inputs or any of Hall Research's various receivers including the cost-effective UH-1BT-R or the motorized PoH UHBX-R-PD that also provides RS-232 IR extension.
The device includes IP (Ethernet), and RS-232 ports for control. Using these ports, users can address and send IR commands to any receiver to control the display. It has eight IR emitter ports that can be used as a multiple control source connected to the UHBX-8X.
