Malaga, April 16, 2013 (TusMedios.es).- On June 6 in Barcelona will be held the Gala of the International Festival of Social Advertising, which will be presented by the charismatic journalist of radio and television José María Íñigo. During it, the Publifestival Awards will be presented to the best national and international social advertising campaigns and the Social Enterprise Awards will be given to the most outstanding national and international companies for their responsible policies.
The ceremony will take place at the Caixa Forum headquarters in Barcelona. This important event, organized by the Mundo Ciudad Foundation, will be attended by some five hundred professionals from the communication sector, the major media and Corporate Social Responsibility, as well as numerous managers, entrepreneurs and celebrities who have decidedly opted for social values in their business and communication strategies.
The Publifestival and Social Enterprise Awards will be broadcast live and in 'videostreaming' by the Television Academy and the respective websites of Publifestival and the Social Enterprise Awards.
The Mundo Ciudad Foundation has among its objectives to promote the creation of wealth in the most effective way through social projects; promote decent working conditions in the corporate culture that favour occupational safety and health; ensure the continuity and reasonable growth of enterprises; respect for the environment, creating a business culture that avoids as much as possible any type of pollution, minimizing the generation of waste and rationalizing the use of natural and energy resources; bring higher education to the largest number of users without having to be a luxury, but a good accessible to the whole society and support the national and international audiovisual sector and involve it in all kinds of social and responsible projects.
The Gala of the International Festival of Social Advertising celebrates its seventh edition this year and its Jury will be chaired by the prestigious creative, Richard Wakefield, professor at the Ramón Lull University of Barcelona, who has been awarded in major festivals such as Cannes, New York, Laus, Marketing Leaders, El Chupete, or publifestival itself in its previous edition of 2012. Wakefield founded in 2004 the organization Publicitarios Implicados, which three years later (2007) became a solidarity association.
Among the honorary members of the Mundo Ciudad Foundation is also Marçal Moliné, journalist, writer and advertiser considered one of the most relevant in Spanish advertising. With him are part of the Mundo Ciudad Foundation as honorary members Princess Beatrice of Orleans, for the Luxury Advertising Awards that the foundation celebrates every autumn; Ricardo Pérez, for the Smile Festival that he organizes annually between February and March, and the American actor Andy García, for the Marbella International Euro Film Festival that takes place every year in the month of October.
In addition, the Mundo Ciudad Foundation also has the European University Campus (CUE), Business School of the American Economic Association to promote training inside and outside Spain, bringing its own high-value training programs to university students without having to be a luxury for them.
