To develop and coordinate strategic business execution and support new and existing customers, focusing on innovation to transform networks in the future, based on reinforced strategic direction in 5G, cloud, digital services, Internet of Things and managed services, Ericsson appointed Elie Hanna as President Ericsson Mexico, Americas and the Caribbean.
"I am taking this new role as a leader in the region to strengthen Ericsson's position in the ICT market. Customers are my priority and I plan to work very closely with them, and enable them to succeed in using Ericsson's technology and services," Hanna said.
Over the past 10 years, Elie Hanna has held various executive positions at Ericsson, primarily in Asia, North Africa and Sweden. In 1996 he joined the Telecommunications company as a Systems Implementation Engineer for Ericsson in Canada.
Hanna holds a Master of Business Administration (EMBA) from the John Molson School of Business in Montreal, Canada, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering focused on Telecommunications at Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal, also in Canada.
