Latin America. Epson announced that one of its projectors and two of its printers have been selected by Japan's 2016 Good Design Awards for their design. The awards recognize those designs that enrich and contribute to the lifestyle of society in general.
The EB-L25000U video projector, with high luminosity and high resolution, is used for exhibitions, concerts, outdoor signage, among others. The EB-L25000U is a 3LCD projector with laser light source that not only reaches 25,000 lumens, but also offers superior image fidelity and up to 20,000 hours of maintenance-free use.
Some judges commented that, "Large projectors are rough to use, for less controlled environments, such as events, so they must be durable, safe, easy to use and must also offer professional levels of image definition, with easy installation. We understand that the designers have developed this video projector with several specific problems in mind and have intensively evaluated its features. In particular, we value for the award, that the structure of the support has helped from the beginning to make the installation safe and efficient. This is a projector that was designed in detail from the user's point of view."
On the other hand, the EP-879AW/AB/AR inkjet printers, which are only marketed in Japan, and the large format SureColor SC-P2000, used for a wide range of applications, from posters and signs to POP advertising, posters and photos, were also recognized in this version of the Good Design Awards.
