Chile. Logitech has just made a distribution agreement for the territory of Chile of its Video Collaboration systems with ICAP Global Chile. This company, through its specialized channel of distributors and integrators in AV and IT technologies, will provide the support and know-how necessary for the development of this product line.
Likewise, the brand presented its new line of cameras for videoconferencing based on software platforms. Logitech systems help enterprises facilitate collaboration between distributed workforces with certified software applications (optimized for Microsoft Lync 2013, certified for Skype for Business, compatible with Cisco Jabber and WebEx) and enhanced integration with members of the Logitech Collaboration Program, which works with any computing device with a USB connection (PC, MAC or Chromebook).
Regarding this strategic agreement, Andrés Vera, Country Manager of ICAP Global for Chile, pointed out that "the development of new technologies and the emergence of new users require the market to offer new integrated alternatives at a lower cost. Today there are 30MM of video collaboration rooms in the world, and that number is estimated to triple in the next five years. That is why, together with Logitech products, we will offer a comprehensive and convenient offer, since we are focused on providing Interactive Video Collaboration solutions to the Chilean channel."
