Escenarios Uruguay supports its service with Powersoft

Uruguay. Escenarios Uruguay had its beginnings in the 1980s, under another name, as a party producer. Already in 1990 their services were expanded as a provider of audio and professional lighting, and around 2013 they decided to take the name that represents them today to add the structures.

It is located in the city of Fray Bentos, department of Río Negro, Uruguay, but also has a branch in Montevideo, and is dedicated to the assembly and rental of structures, sound and lights for events and shows of great prestige, in addition to providing customers with complete advice, technical support and provide comprehensive services to subcontract the equipment they do not have in stock, such as screens and generators.

The company is directed by Juan Carlos Balestrino, in charge of the audio and lighting area, and his son Camilo Balestrino, who is a civil engineer and directs the structures area. Although they work throughout the Uruguayan territory, most of the production is concentrated in Soriano and Río Negro, where the events have audio equipment from brands such as Yamaha, STS Pro Audio and Powersoft.

Escenarios Uruguay acquired its first Powersoft K10 and K3 amplifiers in 2013 - through Equaphon, Powersoft's distributor in Uruguay, and has been using them constantly ever since.

"Powersoft amplifiers are excellent. The sound equipment we worked with changed drastically when we started using Powersoft and gave us a lot of security, both in the reliability and in the care of the speakers," said Juan Carlos.

Among the most outstanding events that Escenarios Uruguay recently held with its Powersoft amplifiers we can name several electronic parties in Punta del Este, a tour of three outdoor concerts of the group Cuarteto de Nos in different departments of the country and the REDvolution Party meeting of the Johnnie Walker brand at the Oceanographic Museum of Montevideo, with an average of 3000 people each.

In all of them, the company provided a complete technical production service, including sound, lights, structures, screens and generators. For the sound system, STS V10 and STS Concerto SUB elements from the Argentine manufacturer STS Pro Audio were used, enhanced with the K10 and K 3 amplifiers from the company's stock, all adjusted and in charge of  Mateo Gargiulo, head of technical service of the company.

"In all cases we got a super good result. We managed to meet the demands of SPL and sound quality, especially in the live shows of Cuarteto de Nos, which at a technical level were the most demanding," said Mateo, who acted as a system engineer. "The powersoft worked excellently. They took care of the team and made it perform beyond what was expected."

For all events, the company also usually uses the Armonía Pro Audio Suite software. "We always use it. For us it is an essential tool. I think the team is not the same without her. The ability to control, supervise and practicality when it comes to adjusting is all in Harmony," concluded Gargiulo.
