Mexico. There are several novelties that Christie will present within the framework of TecnoMultimedia InfoComm Mexico. Among them Omar Olivera, who has just joined the company as Sales Manager of Control Rooms for Mexico and who will give a specialized seminar unprecedented in the region on SDVoE systems.
The Software Defined Video over Ethernet (SDVoE) Alliance ensures a standardized approach to maximize the architecture and performance of the AV-over-IP system in terms of scale, reach and user experience. The course that Omar will teach, to be held on August 10 at 10:30 a.m. in the Tajin/Peten Hall, will offer the necessary keys to take advantage of this new platform and will be a unique opportunity to take a leap in the technical knowledge of AV over IP.
In this edition of InfoComm Mexico we wanted to focus and place special emphasis on the importance of SDVoE standards to make the most of 10G Ethernet hardware and provide video with impeccable quality and zero latency, marking the beginning of a completely new way of working, says Juan Carlos Chávez, Christie's director for Latin America.
Christie has recently launched the Christie Terra product range comprising an expanding range of transmitters, receivers and control software and hardware with which to design and integrate simple, flexible, highly scalable and affordable systems in line with SDVoE standards.
InfoComm Mexico 2017 will also mark the debut of Omar Olivera in his new position as Sales Manager of Control Rooms for Mexico. Omar has a degree in electronic systems engineering from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey. With more than 20 years of experience in technology and engineering, he began his career at TV Azteca, where he worked for more than 10 years as a Technology Development Manager. He was also director of Technological Development of HiTV, a Mexican digital terrestrial television service and director of engineering for the security sector of the company Comtelsat Inc.
Juan Carlos Chávez, Christie's director for Latin America, said: "We are delighted with the addition of Omar as head of control room sales for Mexico. With his experience in the development of turnkey solutions, he will provide a comprehensive vision for the development of control room solutions in which to position Christie products.
For his part, Omar Olivera said: I am very happy to have joined Christie, as it is a great opportunity to use my skills and knowledge in the development of the national control room market. Mexico has ongoing projects that require solutions for control rooms, such as the new airport, the modernization of some parastatals, and different security projects in the states, in which our resolutions for control rooms will be required.
