Colombia. This week marks the most important event for the professional audiovisual industry of the Andean Region in Bogotá, with a new version of TecnoMultimedia InfoComm Colombia. The Corferias convention center will bring together an important number of activities and novelties.
Between November 15 and 17, the fair will be held while the InfoComm conference program will take place between November 14 and 16. This year the conferences will be held in the newly opened Agora Convention Center, while the fair will continue to be held in Corferias, but in Hall 3, floors 1 and 2.
In this eighth edition, some novelties have been prepared, such as the Control Room Summit and the Mapping Workshop Course, the latter, a free activity for professionals interested in learning with an international expert. In addition, the fair will have, as last year, the demonstration of drones, which will be held in conjunction with the exhibitors of TecnoTelevisión & Radio.
Another important novelty of the fair are the audio demos in which more than 10 companies specialized in professional audio will participate. "The audience present at the demos will be able to appreciate first-hand the power and fidelity of the technology and audio products of these exhibitors. These demos are made in specialized fairs in other countries and for the first time they will be made in Tecnomultimedia InfoComm Colombia", explains Victor Alarcón, Project Manager of the event.
• Control Rooms Summit
For the first time in Colombia, the Control Room Summit will be held, an academic event that will bring together leading experts in the design, planning and optimal operation of control rooms. From the planning itself to its correct operation, these are aspects that are often not taken into account when designing a control room. That is why for the academic approach of the event, planning will be a fundamental aspect.
The event will offer 2 days of academic content focused on control rooms. Some of the aspects that will be addressed will be: visualization of information, design, sound and furniture, among other aspects. All of them focused on helping those users who are looking to acquire or modernize their control rooms, offering them the best tools for correct decision making.
