Brazil. Two of the most important integrators of the audiovisual industry in Brazil announced their merger, in order to create a strong company that takes over the local corporate market and allows them to develop global projects. Solutione and Eletroequip are, since the second of January, a new company that brings together 65 years of experience in the industry.
Odair Tremante, commercial director of the company, told AVI LATINOAMÉRICA the details of this business movement that will undoubtedly give something to talk about in the regional industry this year. He stressed that the partners of both companies had great respect and admiration for the work done, having ethics as the main point in common. Therefore, since 2015 the idea was raised and in that year an attempt was made that failed to materialize.
At the end of 2017 the partners of both companies met again and in a few weeks the creation of a new company was defined, which today has 85 employees, offices in Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro and a large logistics center.
Odair Tremante pointed out that each company has some strengths and weaknesses, which when merged manage to complement each other and allow to take the best of each one, such as the ability of Eletroequip to develop complex projects from engineering and the efficient and aggressive in the commercial area of Solutione.
The new company, of which the name has not yet been announced, is made up of an international structure, through which they have the objective of being the largest integrator of the Brazilian audiovisual market in the corporate segment and to be able to carry out global projects, hand in hand with local partners, for which they will have a rigorous selection process.
FIRST AVIXA Gold membership in Latam
According to Odair Tremante, a fundamental part of the new company to be able to carry out global projects is to have trained and certified personnel. Both companies had some professionals with AVIXA's CTS certification, but now they want the entire engineering and design area to be certified.
To achieve this goal, they have acquired avixa's Gold membership, being the first company in Latin America to acquire this membership following the Association's new scheme launched in 2018. With this membership, they will be able to access all avixa training options for its employees at all its locations, as well as download all the standards for the audiovisual industry at no cost, access to education consulting services and extensive market intelligence resources.
