AVIXA seeks marketing director for Latam

Latin America. AVIXA is looking for an experienced marketing manager for the planning and implementation of all marketing and public relations activities in Latin America and South America, aimed at leading AV channel companies and AV professionals.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Director of International Marketing, as well as key sales and business development stakeholders based in Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Brazil, to create marketing and communication strategies and initiatives that raise awareness of AVIXA products and events. Main duties and responsibilities:

  • In collaboration with the Director of International Marketing, the Latin American Marketing Manager will design and implement integrated marketing and communication plans that will maximize knowledge of AVIXA as a business and professional association, and AVIXA's products and event content among its chosen audiences. 
  • For diverse Latin American audiences, regionalize and communicate the value of the AVIXA brand and create supporting marketing materials and web content.
  • Manage the presence of the Association in all TecnoMultimedia InfoComm fairs, including, among others, the following: development of advertising material, graphics, promotion of activities of the Association in the shows, logistics management
  • Develop and manage websites and social networks in Spanish and Portuguese, keeping content up to date 
  • Working with AVIXA staff, identify opportunities to engage in specific vertical markets
  • Work with AVIXA marketing staff, plan, design and execute marketing and communication campaigns aimed at professionals in identified vertical markets

Qualifications:

  • CRM proficiency and expertise, including list selection to maximize engagement with email promotions
  • Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to develop new processes that foster collaboration in the ideation phase of each project and ensure consistency between the content as planned and the program ultimately delivered.
  • Strong knowledge and management of social media platforms
  • Ability to work effectively on tight deadlines
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Diplomatic skills: the ability to influence and generate consensus among internal and external teams.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of staff.
  • Administrative skills: the ability to manage an international budget and ensure that supplier relationships are managed efficiently and productively.
  • Willingness and ability to work remotely in a home office environment, as well as to travel to AVIXA and other industry events

Education:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism or international business, preferably

Level of experience:
Minimum 5 years of related experience, preferably within an international marketing environment.

Language skills:
Fluency in spoken, written, Spanish and Portuguese English. Ability to present information effectively to management and colleagues.

Other skills:
The following attributes are not necessary, but would be advantageous:

Excellent writing skills
Knowledge of printing processes, international formats, negotiation and management of suppliers, development of publications, development of marketing materials, marketing workflow and processes, brand compliance, compilation and rental of lists, postage requirements, direct marketing, online marketing, extraction of databases for marketing to specific audiences.
