Mexico. The Mexican company Axtel received, at the International Congress of IT Infrastructure, eight ICREA and governance certifications for the Data Centers of Querétaro, Apodaca, San Nicolás de la Garza and Tultitlán.
The company has several Data Centers whose capabilities it markets through its business brand Alestra throughout the Republic, in the cities of Querétaro, Monterrey, Mexico City and Guadalajara, which are equivalent to more than 7 thousand square meters of white floor.
In 2018, the Data Centers obtained three ICREA Gold, two Silver and one Platinum certifications. The importance of these certifications is based on compliance with world-class methods and procedures that result in a level of excellence in the infrastructure of the world's Data Centers, from Mexico to Italy.
In order to access these certifications, Axtel had to comply with a series of requirements on sustainability and service issues within each of its Centers, such as: high reliability, availability, constant maintenance, high security, scalability, training and operation of each of them.
On the other hand, the company received the "Data Center Governance Compliance Alpha Level" certification for the Alestra Green Data Center of the City of Querétaro, for the second consecutive year by the International Computer Room Experts Association, ICREA.
In accordance with ICREA certifications, the Alestra Green Data Center in Querétaro meets for the fifth year, with levels of high security and high availability with world-class certification in Data Hall 1A and 2. In addition, it was certified with ICREA Silver, for having a reliable room with world-class Certified Environment.
For its part, the San Nicolás de la Garza Data Center also achieved, under the Alpha level, the governance certification, and for the ninth consecutive year it obtained the ICREA Platinum level IV certification, which means that it has a high level of security within its Data Hall 1.
This certification proves once again the degree of commitment to compliance with security and quality standards that Axtel has to provide world-class services to its customers, with the implementation of best practices for governance and security in its Data Centers.
