International. The company Apart Audio announced that Kris Vermuyten will be promoted to the position of CEO. Kris joined the company more than 20 years ago and was until now Director of Marketing and Sales for Apart Audio. Kris has a successful track record at Apart Audio, which is growing strongly.
In his new role as CEO of Apart Audio, Kris will further strengthen Apart Audio as an innovative and global brand for small and medium-sized fixed installation sound solutions.
With Steve Johnson as CEO of Community Professional Loudspeakers and Kris as CEO of Apart Audio, they will have for each brand a dedicated CEO who will focus 100% on the development of their brand.
Both Steve and Kris will report to Koen Claerbout as Group CEO of Audioprof Group International (APGI). That way, Koen can free up time (until now he was, in a combined role, also interim CEO of Apart Audio) for strategic initiatives to develop the group in terms of organic growth, strategic partnerships and acquisition initiatives. In addition, Koen will participate in other investment activities of 3D-Investors (majority shareholder of APGI).
Kris Vermuyten commented: "I am delighted to have the opportunity to further expand the Apart Audio brand under the APGI umbrella in the coming years. Together with the management team, we will continue to focus on the small and medium-sized fixed installation market. In cooperation with our distribution partners around the world, we aim to continue to offer a reliable and competitive product range that meets the needs in the retail, food and hospitality, corporate, sports and leisure and education markets we focus on."
In addition, the company appointed Raf Willems as Kris Vermuyten's successor in the role of Director of Marketing and Sales for Apart Audio. Raf joined Apart Audio 5 years ago and has a solid background in the audio industry in various business roles. Until now, Raf was Sales Director for Europe at Apart Audio.
"I am extremely proud to lead the Sales and Marketing team within the Apart Audio organization. I consider myself blessed to have such strong teams on my side and look forward to further developing our national and international presence," said Raf Willems.
