Colombia. Cedia announced its offer of international quality training sessions for 2019 in Colombia. Following the initial event on February 18, eight additional sessions will be held in the cities of Bogotá and Medellín. The next event, which includes Cedia's courses "Ethernet Network Design Workshop" and "Technologies for Video Viewing and Installation," will take place on March 18 in Medellín.
Courses range from introductory to advanced level and cover topics on audio, video, wireless connection and home theater systems. Hometech El Hogar Digital S.A.S joined Cedia to offer the training sessions in its offices and training centers in Medellín and Bogotá.
"As part of our commitment to drive the market in Latin America and allow companies regular access to essential technical skills and knowledge in this rapidly growing industry, we are excited to work with Hometech El Hogar Digital S.A.S to provide some of our courses in Spanish," said CEDIA's Vice President of Global Development, Wendy Griffiths.
He added that "This knowledge will be complemented by new virtual courses in Spanish and the training in Spanish that will be offered during Expo Cedia in September. We are excited to train the community and provide access to education in this important market, as well as work with local companies with similar values and committed to education."
Hometech CEO Mauricio Mejia said his company is committed to working for industry growth and professional improvement in the market. "This kind of education is available to everyone in the market." Our facilities in Bogotá and Medellín are ready to welcome participants in the training sessions and we look forward to contributing, in collaboration with CEDIA, to the growth of the industry and Colombia."
More registrations will open for the courses when the start dates approach. The cost of the same will have a discount for Cedia members. Check the full schedule of Cedia courses by clicking here.
